Internal Quality Assurance Cell

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shambhunath Mahavidyalaya, Tinhari, Parsupur, Mau is established with the objective of promoting and maintaining quality in all academic and administrative activities of the institution. The IQAC works as an integral part of the college's quality enhancement system and strives to create a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence.
The IQAC focuses on improving the quality of teaching and learning through regular academic planning, innovative teaching methods, faculty development programmes, student feedback, and academic reviews. It encourages teachers and students to participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, co-curricular activities, and other academic initiatives that contribute to their overall development.
The Cell also monitors various institutional activities and collects relevant information regarding academic performance, infrastructure, student support services, research and extension activities, and administrative functioning. Based on feedback and performance reviews, the IQAC suggests appropriate measures for improvement and assists the college administration in implementing quality-oriented initiatives.
