Shambhunath Mahavidyalaya, Tinhari, Parsupur, Mau is committed to promoting an inclusive, equitable, and supportive academic environment for students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). The SC/ST/OBC Cell has been established to safeguard the rights and interests of students from these communities and to ensure that they receive equal opportunities in education and other academic activities.
The Cell works to create awareness among students about various government schemes, scholarships, reservations, educational benefits, and welfare provisions available to SC/ST/OBC students. It also provides guidance and assistance regarding admission, scholarships, academic support, and other issues related to their educational development.
The Cell encourages students to freely communicate their concerns and provides appropriate assistance for resolving academic, administrative, or other difficulties. It also promotes social harmony, mutual respect, equality, and a discrimination-free campus environment.
Through its activities, the SC/ST/OBC Cell strives to empower students, encourage their participation in higher education, and support their overall academic and personal development. The College remains committed to the principles of equality, social justice, dignity, and inclusive education for all students.
