Shambhunath Mahavidyalaya, Tinhari, Parsupur, Mau is committed to maintaining transparency, accountability, and openness in its academic and administrative activities. In accordance with the Right to Information Act, 2005, eligible citizens may seek information relating to the functioning, administration, academic activities, rules, regulations, and other matters of the institution, subject to the provisions and exemptions prescribed under the Act.
The Right to Information provides citizens with an opportunity to obtain information regarding college administration, admission procedures, courses and programs, fee-related matters, institutional policies, facilities, committees, examinations, scholarships, and other applicable records maintained by the institution.

RTI Application

An applicant seeking information may submit a written application to the designated Public Information Officer (PIO) or the concerned authority of the institution, as applicable. The application should clearly mention the information required and provide the necessary contact details of the applicant. The prescribed application fee, wherever applicable, should be submitted as per the rules under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
The college shall process RTI applications in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Act and provide the requested information within the prescribed time limit, except where the information falls under any exemption or restriction provided by law.

1. College administration and institutional procedures
2. Courses, programs, and admission-related rules
3. Fee structure and applicable institutional regulations
4. Academic and examination-related matters
5. Infrastructure and available facilities
6. Committees, policies, and institutional procedures
7. Financial and administrative records, wherever disclosure is permitted
8. Other information held by or under the control of the institution, subject to the RTI Act
